> Answers to the most frequent questions: file formats, minimum quantities, surcharges, materials, tolerances, delivery time, shipping costs and invoices for business customers.

## How do I get a price?

Instantly and without an enquiry: configure your part in the browser or upload a STEP file — the price comes directly from our production calculation, including the quantity scale. The price shown is binding for your order.

## Which file formats can I upload?

STEP files (.step/.stp). After uploading, you see your part and the instant price. Without a 3D file, you have two options: the part designer for contour, holes, cut-outs and trays, or "Configure a bent part" for angles, U and Z profiles made to measure. You need no CAD software in either case.

## Do I need a technical drawing?

No. Production is based on the geometry of your uploaded STEP file or of your design in the browser. Separate drawings or PDF plans are not required for ordering.

## Is there a minimum order quantity?

No — we manufacture from 1 piece, without a minimum order value and without a small-quantity surcharge. Machine set-up is included in the parts price. One order handling fee is added per order as a separate line; it is waived from a goods value of €250. The unit price falls as the quantity rises.

## Which costs are added to the parts price?

Material, cutting and the selected processing are included in the parts price shown, as is machine set-up. One order handling fee is added per order as a separate line; it is waived from a goods value of €250. There is no small-quantity surcharge and no minimum order value. A part costs the same online, at the counter and in the office. Shipping and any Express service you choose (a surcharge as a percentage of the goods value, with a minimum amount) are shown separately before you buy.

## Which materials and thicknesses are available?

Steel S235JR (also galvanised and as Corten S355J2WP), stainless steel 1.4301 (also brushed), aluminium AlMg3 (also as chequer plate and painted in RAL 9016/7016), aluminium AlMg1 anodised E6/EV1 natural, copper SF-Cu, brass Ms 63 and aluminium perforated sheets. The configurator shows you the thicknesses available for each material directly when you make your selection.

## Can I have perforated sheets cut to size?

Yes. You configure aluminium perforated sheets with round perforation (3 or 5 mm) and square perforation (5×5, 8×8, 10×10 mm) to your desired size, just like solid sheet.

## What tolerances do you manufacture to?

Laser cutting to DIN EN ISO 9013 class 2, laser parts ± 0.1 mm, bend angle ± 0.5°; linear dimensions and angles without tolerance to DIN ISO 2768-mK, and for semi-finished products additionally the tolerance of the respective product standard. Deviating agreements in the order confirmation take precedence. If you need tighter tolerances, please clarify this with us before ordering.

## Which gas is used for laser cutting?

Stainless steel, aluminium, copper and brass always with nitrogen: a bright, oxide-free edge. Structural steel up to 6 mm with nitrogen, above that with oxygen: the edge then has a thin oxide layer. Please remove it before painting or powder coating.

## How quickly do you deliver?

You choose the delivery time yourself: Standard in 5 working days, Express in 2 working days for a surcharge, Economy without hurry in 10 working days with a 3 % discount on the goods value. This applies equally to semi-finished products, profiles and accessories. Express 24 h: order by 12:00 and your parts are ready for dispatch on the next working day (sheet metal cut-to-size parts and standard profiles, up to 10 pieces per item), for a surcharge. The basket shows which items qualify. You see your binding date before ordering in the basket and at checkout (orders Mon–Fri by 12:00 count from the same day); you follow progress via your order link.

## What does shipping cost — and can I collect?

We pack every order in boxes, flat packs or bundles and choose the most economical suitable shipping method for each package: sheet metal parts and short sections of bars, tubes and profiles travel as parcels, long bars as a long-goods bundle. We use a pallet by freight forwarder only when a part is too large or too heavy for this. We calculate the shipping price for your consignment and show it before you buy — you pay shipping that matches the size and weight of your consignment. We deliver within Germany; details under Shipping & delivery (/en/shipping). Alternatively, you collect your order free of shipping costs at Hanauer Landstraße 421 in Frankfurt am Main — you receive an email as soon as your order is ready for collection.

## As a business customer, do I receive an invoice showing VAT?

Yes. You receive a proper invoice showing VAT separately for every order; the price display switches between gross including VAT and net plus VAT. Payment is made in advance at checkout: online, you pay conveniently by card, PayPal or bank transfer.

## How can I pay?

Online, you pay conveniently at checkout by card, PayPal or bank transfer. Production starts once payment is received. This also applies to collection: you pay online in advance and collect the finished goods at Hanauer Landstraße.
