Ms58 is the most machined non-ferrous metal of all. The lead content keeps chips short, tool life long and surfaces smooth. It can also be hot-formed well, but hardly bent cold. Ms63 is the choice for that.

- Excellent machinability (reference value of machining tables)
- Good hot formability, poor cold formability
- Easy to solder, limited weldability
- Resistant to water and air, not to ammonia

## Processing notes

Sawing and turning run effortlessly. For bent parts choose Ms63, because Ms58 cracks when bent cold.
