Unlike 1.4301, it is magnetic: magnets hold securely on the surface. With its glossy 2R surface, the sheet is the first choice for magnetic boards, magnetic walls and pinboards in kitchen, office and children's room. ### Properties - Magnetic; magnets hold directly on the surface - Nickel-free, ferritic chromium steel - For indoor use: kitchen, office, living room - Protective film on one side; the film-covered side is the visible side ### Surface finish Bright-annealed on one side (2R) with protective film. Intended for indoor use; for outdoors and damp areas choose 1.4301. This is normal and links your part to the inspection certificate. The rolling mill determines where the marking sits on the sheet. Deburring or grinding weakens it, but it may still show through.
