As a stainless steel mirror, the sheet is shatterproof and does not splinter. That makes it ideal for playgrounds, children's rooms, sports halls and wherever glass is too dangerous. ### Properties - Bright-annealed 2R surface, highly reflective - Shatterproof and splinter-free, unlike glass - Corrosion resistance as 1.4301 - Protective film on one side; the film-covered side is the mirror side ### Surface finish Mirror finish on one side with protective film. A stainless steel mirror reflects clearly but shows the image a little softer than a glass mirror. Bond it over a large area to a flat board so that the reflection stays steady. Sheet to EN 10088-2. **Which surfaces are available online?** 2B, brushed K240, 2R with film. Further versions on quotation in the [Sheet metal range](https://mvg-frankfurt.de/en/sheet-metal). **Is an inspection certificate 3.1 available?** Yes, if a certificate to EN 10204 is on file for the material: as an option in the basket, €15 net per order. **Why is there lettering on my stainless steel part?** Stainless steel sheets carry a mill marking with material and heat number. This is normal and links your part to the inspection certificate. The rolling mill determines where the marking sits on the sheet. Deburring or grinding weakens it, but it may still show through.
