The thin sheet is very easy to bend and needs no further coating. That makes it the usual material for covers and cladding that stand outdoors or in damp surroundings. ### Properties - Zinc coating Z275 on both sides, cathodic protection even at scratches - Soft forming steel without guaranteed yield strength: very easy to bend, not for load-bearing components - Considerably longer service life outdoors than raw steel - Welding possible, but burns off the zinc layer in the weld zone ### Surface finish Zinc layer with its typical sheen, sometimes with spangle.
