Narrow down your interest
Digitalisation, sustainability or logistics are big topics. For a thesis, a concrete section helps: a process, a data basis or a user question. Note what you want to understand or improve and how a result could be recognised.
Possible questions at MVG
How can residual materials be recorded more transparently? Which information do users lack when configuring a sheet metal part? How could item information be better structured for technical advice? These are starting points for a conversation, not topics already promised or published research results.
Agree on the framework together
Before the start, the research question, working time, data access and contact person must be clear. Align the academic requirements with your university. The use of company information and the options for publication should also be discussed early.
A short enquiry is enough to start
Write to us with your degree programme, the planned time frame and a few sentences about your idea. If you do not have a topic yet, name your interests. In a conversation we can clarify whether it can become a task that makes sense professionally and can be supervised in the company.
