Cancellation policy
This policy applies to consumers. A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business or self-employed profession.
Our online shop is currently aimed exclusively at business customers (Unternehmer) (terms and conditions, section 1). Business customers have no right of withdrawal. This policy applies only to contracts with consumers.
For goods that we manufacture to your specifications or that are clearly tailored to your personal needs, there is no right of withdrawal (section 312g(2) no. 1 of the German Civil Code, Bürgerliches Gesetzbuch, BGB). This applies to all cut-to-size parts, bent parts, parts from the part designer, parts from uploaded files and semi-finished products that we cut to length. Only full bars in mill length, full sheets in standard size and accessories without processing can be withdrawn from. In the basket, every made-to-measure item is marked “Made to your dimensions – no right of withdrawal”.
You can declare your withdrawal electronically using the function “Vertrag widerrufen” (“Withdraw from contract”) on our website. The form is available in German: Vertrag widerrufen. Enter your name, your email address, your order number (if available) and your declaration; the form already contains a standard declaration of withdrawal. We will confirm receipt to you by email without delay. Alternatively, you can send us your declaration by letter or email (see below).
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, took possession of the goods.

of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (for example a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the model withdrawal form below for this purpose, but this is not mandatory. You can also declare your withdrawal using the function “Vertrag widerrufen” (“Withdraw from contract”) on our website (page “Widerruf”, linked in the footer of every page); we will confirm receipt to you by email without delay.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Consequences of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.
You will bear the direct cost of returning the goods. For goods which, by their nature, cannot normally be returned by post (palletised goods, long goods), you will likewise bear the direct cost of returning the goods; this depends on weight, dimensions and destination and may be as high as the cost of the original delivery.
You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling of the goods other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Exclusion of the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the supply of goods which are not prefabricated and for whose production an individual selection or specification by the consumer is decisive, or which are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer (section 312g(2) no. 1 BGB).
