We bend an open U-profile; welding is outside our range.
When does the patina form?
Outdoors after a few weeks to months. Alternating rain and drying is needed. Under cover the colouring stays uneven.
Does Corten steel stain?
Yes, at first. Rust water running off stains light-coloured stone, concrete and render. Keep a gap or use gravel as a drip zone.
Does Corten steel need maintenance?
No. No coating is needed. Avoid standing water and leaves so that the patina forms evenly.
How tall can the stele be?
Up to 3,000 mm in one piece.
