HEB beam: choosing size and version
A designation such as HEB 100 is a profile name. Height, width and web and flange thickness are listed separately in the item data.
Load capacity and deflection depend on span, load and support, among other things. The section alone does not replace a structural calculation.
Cutting and tolerance
We saw from the mill length to your size; the saw blade kerf is 3.2 mm and is included in the offcut calculation. Length dimensions follow DIN ISO 2768-mK, cross-section and material also follow the respective product standard (EN 10025-2). You pay for the length ordered. If an offcut under 1.5 m remains that we cannot resell, we charge the full bar. The configurator shows you this before you order.
Shipping
Short cuts are shipped as a parcel; long sections and full bars go securely packed as a pallet or long-goods freight. We calculate the shipping price for your consignment and show it before you buy; collection in Frankfurt is free of charge. Details under Shipping & delivery.
