Does Corten steel stain?
Yes, at first. Rust water running off stains light-coloured stone, concrete and render. Keep a gap or use gravel as a drip zone.
Does Corten steel need maintenance?
No. No coating is needed. Avoid standing water and leaves so that the patina forms evenly.
Are the dimensions outside dimensions?
Yes. All dimensions in the sketch are outside dimensions. We allow for the bend radius.
How long can the part be?
Up to 3,000 mm in one piece. Split longer runs into several parts with joints.
