Copper E-Cu (Cu-ETP)

Electrolytic copper: the conductor material with the highest electrical conductivity after silver.

E-Cu is copper of conductor quality. Busbars, earthing strips and contact parts are made from it, because no other economical material conducts electricity and heat as well. When soft it bends excellently; cold forming makes it stronger and more brittle.

Processing notes

Copper smears during machining and tends to clog the saw blade: generous tooth pitch, plenty of cooling. For busbars, brush the contact faces bright before assembly.
