Brass Ms63 (CuZn37)

The formable brass: for bending, deep drawing and soldering.

Ms63 contains less zinc and no lead. It can be bent cold, deep-drawn and embossed without cracking: the material for brass sheet and formed parts. It machines less well than Ms58 because the chip stays long and tough.

Processing notes

Watch for long chips when sawing. Stress corrosion cracking can occur after cold forming. Have heavily formed parts stress-relief annealed.
