Determine the cross-section
Start with the shape: tube, bar or open profile. The profile overview shows the cross-section as a symbol. The shape search helps you find, for example, rectangular tubes, angles or aluminium profiles for machine construction. The symbol illustrates the shape; the exact dimensions are listed with each item.
Choose material and dimensions
After the shape, choose a suitable item from the catalogue. Pay attention to the material designation and all cross-section dimensions. Two profiles that look similar can differ in material, wall thickness and intended use. For load-bearing structures, the selection in the shop does not replace professional design calculations.
Set length and quantity
Enter the required cut length and quantity. Check the unit and the input limits shown. If you need several lengths, create separate items for them. Please clarify special processing requests with us before ordering.
Review the whole order
Check the items in the basket once more for material, cross-section, length and quantity. The shipping options also depend on the dimensions of the order. Collection in Frankfurt is an alternative; you see the delivery methods offered and their costs during ordering.
