QG 10-15 means: square holes with 10 mm sides, in straight rows, 15 mm from hole centre to hole centre. A 5 mm web remains between the holes; about 44.4 % of the area is open. The base material is 1.4301, the most widely used stainless steel. It resists water, steam and many acids and lasts practically indefinitely indoors, and outdoors too away from sea air and de-icing salt.
