Describe the desired result

Should the metallic look remain visible, or is an opaque colour the priority? State your visual requirements and mark the visible surfaces. Photos or an approved sample help with the coordination.

State the base material and its condition

State the exact alloy, any existing surface treatments and the processing so far. The result also depends on the base material; a colour on screen is not a binding surface finish approval.

Mark mating surfaces and threads

Dimensionally critical surfaces, threads, electrical contact points and areas that should remain untreated belong in the drawing. The surface treatment is one step in the production sequence and must be coordinated with the other steps.

Complete your enquiry
