Cutting methods and tolerances
We cut rectangular blanks on the guillotine shear. DIN ISO 2768-m applies to length and width; the cut edge is sheared, and a slight roll-over and a burr are normal in production. We laser-cut parts with cut-outs, holes or free contours.

Questions
Which side of the hammered sheet is the visible side?
You decide. The sheet is embossed through and has an indented side with hollows and a top side with a raised texture. In the configurator you choose which side is on the outside.Sheet metal range.
From which sheet is it cut?
From 2000 × 1000 mm sheets in 1 mm thickness. Your part can therefore be up to 2000 × 1000 mm.
How is hammered sheet cut?
On the guillotine shear. Slight marks may appear on the embossed surface near the cut edge; they are usually hardly visible in the pattern.
Is the sheet suitable for repairing caravans?
Yes. Hammered aluminium is used as the outer skin on many caravans and motorhomes, and we cut it to size for your repair. The hammer pattern may vary slightly by manufacturer and model year; once fitted, this is usually hardly noticeable. We are happy to compare in advance using a photo of your outer wall.
Can hammered sheet be painted?
Usually well. Degrease the surface thoroughly beforehand, for example with cellulose thinner or an aluminium cleaner.
